LED*Waves & The American Museum of Natural History
What better way to introduce the wonder of LEDs than via one of the most wondrous places on earth? The American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan is truly a national treasure that educates and delights the young and the old by the hundreds everyday. One of its basic teachings is that there is always more to something than meets the eye, and two of its most recent exhibits feature something extra you may not readily (or even be expected to) notice: LED lighting. Both the in-house Horse Exhibit (on display through January 4th, 2009) and the traveling Nature of Diamonds Exhibit are partly indebted to LEDs provided by LED*Waves. The Horse Exhibit used our LED Recessed Lights and the Nature of Diamonds Exhibit used our LED Light Bars. See if you can spot them next time you visit these terrific exhibits.
