UPDATE: LED Streetlights Line The Road To An Efficient Future

Here's one more city that is truly moving in the right direction! The City of Ouray, Colorado will be converting 70 of its street lights to LED street lights. Last Tuesday, three different types of head (30, 60, 90 Watt) were installed and voted on by the eco-conscious townspeople. The city estimates that it spends about $7,000 yearly on street lighting; this figure could be cut by as much as 75% by an LED conversion.

I guess these are just for the Asian market? I didn't see any cUL, ETL, cETL, CSA or UL certification mentioned.

Same for most of your LED bulbs.

Also, certain LED driver products only have CE mark. So only good for European market.

Would be good idea to mention which products are certified for the North American market.
